A buyer’s guide to UX maturity assessment
Many consultancies are offering to assess your organization’s UX maturity and to guide your organization in increasing its UX maturity.
Here are a few things to consider when selecting a consultancy:
- What is their UX expertise? Have they conducted user interviews, usability testing and other basic UX research activities?
- Are they relying solely on checklists? Or are they basing their UX maturity assessements on in-depth interviews of team members and a careful inspection of the organization’s UX deliverables such as summaries of interviews, user requirements, usability test reports and more?
- Have they published peer-reviewed articles or papers about UX maturity and UX strategy?
